  • Persons as of 5 years of age will receive the Covid vaccination with the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine.
  • The National Vaccination Board recommends that the Moderna (Spikevax) vaccine be only administered to persons of 30 years and older. Upon express request and in line with the approval, the Moderna vaccine can also be administered to persons under 30 years of age.
  • The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered to persons as of 18 years of age.
  • The Novavax (Nuvaxovid) vaccine will be administered for basic immunisation to persons as of 18 years of age.
  • The COVID-19 vaccine Valneva is administered to persons between 18 and 50 years of age.

Please note that children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. The final decision on whether a child aged 5 to 12 will receive the Covid vaccination is with the attending physician.
