  • The Comirnaty (BioNTech/Pfizer) vaccine is approved for persons as of 5 years of age.
  • The National Vaccination Board recommends that the Moderna (Spikevax) vaccine be only administered for basic immunisation to persons of 30 years and older. Upon express request and in line with the approval, the Moderna vaccine can also be administered to persons under 30 years of age.
  • The Novaxovid (Novavax) is approved for basic immunisation for persons 18 years and older.
  • Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) and Jannsen (Johnson & Johnson) are only approved for persons 18 years and older.

Please note that children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. The final decision on which Covid vaccine to administer is with the attending physician.
