There is only limited experience with the use of mRNA vaccines (this includes BioNTech/Pfizer and Moderna vaccines) for pregnant persons. An mRNA vaccine during pregnancy should be considered if the potential benefit for both the parent and the child outweighs the risks. A routine pregnancy test before your vaccination appointment is not required. Please note that all these provisions are precautionary measures.
