Statement on the obligation to be informed

Data storage

If you register on impfservice.wien to book appointments for vaccinations, your data is stored by us for the purpose of executing the appointment booking process and for appointment reminders or making contact with you in the event of cancellations. Should you book an appointment using one of our vaccination partners, you agree to the transfer of your data to these vaccination partners.

Data processing

Data is processed on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96, para. 3 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the improvement of our website and our web presence. Should data processing rely on your consent, you have the right to revoke this at any time. The legitimacy of the processing performed on the basis of your consent up until the time of revocation will not be affected by this.

Purpose of data processing

Data processing is carried out for the following purposes:

Personal data for booking appointments online: We use the data exclusively for the purpose of booking your vaccination appointments or responding to requests and contacting the user with appointment reminders and appointment cancellations.

Host name of the accessing computer (IP address anonymised): This serves to determine the country from which you have visited us in order to be able to provided different regional content, for example, and also for the purpose of the statistical evaluation of visitors by country.

URL: The address accessed by you, serves to anayse how often a certain page has been accessed, for example.

Time and date of the server enquiry: Time of the accessing the URL, serves to restrict statistical evaluations to a certain timeframe.

Referrer URL: Serves the purpose of statistical evaluation, for example to measure which (foreign) sites, search engines link to our website.

User agent string: Represents the names and version of the browser used. Serves to optimise the presentation and user friendliness of our website for this.

Storage period

Pursuant to the GDPR, your entire customer account and booking data will be erased following a period of inactivity of 36 months or following the revocation of the declaration of consent. In revoking consent, the legality of the processing conducted to this point will not be affected.

Within the framework of the service agreement concluded between MA15 – Public Health Services of the City of Vienna and the City of Vienna – Wiener Wohnen Kundenservice GmbH concerning the provision of services in the field of customer communication for MA15 – vaccination service, ARGE Vienna Call, Vorgartenstraße 206 C, 1020 Vienna is appointed as the subcontractor for creating the website and processing the data provided.
